Bethel Revival Choir PR reveals inspiration behind ‘Enyo’ album

According to her, all the songs on the album are basically to say thank you to God for how far He’s brought them, and also encourage themselves and their audience to keep trusting in God.

In an exclusive interview with Eunice Tornyi on e.tv Ghana’s ‘African Women’s Voices’ show, she said, “We’re just saying that when we trust in God, when we put all our hope in God and everything in Him, He will not put us to shame. There are times when things are just not good and you want to try to help God because you feel God is delaying but, in our song, ‘Trusting’ for instance, Pastor Jennifer is telling you to leave everything to God because when you do, He’s able to come through for you at the right time and when He does, He comes in big which makes you wonder.”

Talking about some challenges they’ve faced as a choir that leaded them to trust God, she mentioned they believe God has been faithful in so many ways and has seen them through very difficult times.

“Initially, we thought it was just about us especially with the media fraternity being a very tough one for a traditional choir to break through. But, we came, released our album and out of nowhere we received calls from people wanting to host us and some of these people are people others pay to go and see,” she said.

She furthered that there have also been times where people within the choir got jobs because they were associated to the choir, others won contracts, others healed amongst many other testimonies.

When I sit back and hear some of the testimonies I’ve heard from members of the choir, it’s made me know that it’s not just about the singing but, God was really doing something for us as individuals and even as a group. So the whole ‘Enyo’ album ‘Trusting’ and every other song on the album is our own way of saying thank you to God for how good he’s been and how far He’s brought us,” she stated.
